What songs would you like to be played at your funeral?
Just curious.
I'm picking for Hans Zimmer's "Chevaliers de Sangreal"
EDIT: This would be my #2 choice. I just think it's a mix of contemplative, pretty, wistful and contented happiness all at the same time...
Hell's Bells.
For whom the Bell Tolls.
Master of Puppets.
Kickstart My Heart
At the very end, last song.... Never gonna give you up. Mostly because I'm a prick and I would get to rickroll everyone one last time.
59 sound by gaslight anthem.
Also brothers will by Iron and Wine.
Planning to live forever.
So far, so good.

Inna Gadda Da Vida, the full version.
So you all have to sit there for 17 minutes.
"In my time of dying" - Led Zeppelin. The theme fits, and also, if that opening riff can't raise me from the dead, nothing will.
Dad had "into the mystic" and "Dixie chicken".
I'm thinking John Prine "please don't bury me" or Todd Snyder "just like old times" for me.
For my uncle, it should be this:

If I'm being serious, this:
I'll be dead so I don't really care. I'm good with whatever makes my family happier.
Maybe Tomorrow by Nightingale Cummings
Prop me up beside the jukebox by joe diffie

Maybe this (or some version of the song)
One day a bunch of years ago, I was pulling into the dirt parking lot of my favorite mountain biking spot... probably a little too fast, windows open, with the Allman Brothers SoulShine playing a little too loud.
As I crossed the wooden bridge over the river, I looked down and saw a bunch of sad people glaring back up at me. I realized that they were scattering someone's ashes in the water below.
I felt bad about that for a while, but after a couple of hours of fantastic riding, I decided right then and there to instruct my friends to dump my ashes in the same spot when my time comes, and crank up SoulShine while they're doing it.
And smile for God's sake...
Thomas Newman - That Next Place. It's from Meet Joe Black. Coincidentally, a movie about death coming for you:

Durn yore hide! Now I'm gonna have to find an excuse to watch that movie again.
Depends on how I died. If I'm electrified, maybe "I just wanna shake" by Taylor Swift. If I was killed by a car while high on LSD, maybe "Magic Bus." If I fell off a cliff, maybe "Broken" by Seether. If I drowned in a septic tank, maybe "Black Water" by the Doobies.
