Thanks. I've seen them in use, but sometimes they look so fluid I thought maybe the site's filter automatically shielded my sensitive eyes.
they are both. we've become so used to them, many of us automagically type the filter instead of the actual "naughty" word.
I like to phrase mine so that the censored words come up in new and fun ways
