Yup. It was 27 today at the first race of the season, and we had over 80 drivers. We really are idiots. Cold tires and a frozen were a lot of fun though!
Miatas and S2000s with their tops down made me cold just watching. BRRRRRRRRRRR.

Several years back was at an HPDE at Brainerd. Date coincided with the opening day of fishing season, so you know it was miserable.
As I recall, it was about 38, drizzling, and windy.
I never thought I'd be using the heated seats in the Z4 at the track, but I did that day.
Weather was better the next day though...
When the weather sucks, I just stay home. Guess I'm not dedicated enough to chase cones in the cold or rain.
Spent all weekend doing our local drivers school Saturday and first event on Sunday. I couldn't feel my toes Saturday, came back with double layers of wool socks Sunday. Still had a blast.
Track day on Saturday was delayed because ice on track in the shade. I ran with the S2000 top up for once...
First time my track prep was "replace snow tires with track tires"

We have a brewery for days like that, lol!
When I lived in Atlanta, I remember encountering slight flurries while pulling out my driveway for an autocross. I went anyway.

I used to live in mn. The autox opener was delayed by two weeks once due to snow. Then they moved the location. THEN it snowed anyhow. I wasnt sure if i needed rain gear or my Columbia.

Lakewood Amphitheater. This would have been '92 or '93. Everyone walked around while wearing their helmets as it seemed to fend off some cold.
