Automotive fabric/cloth/upholstery

I need help.

I'm having problems finding something interesting yet classy for a project. Will need to do headliner, door panel inserts, and POSSIBLY dash. (I know the dash might take something straight from classy to tacky, so that's up in the air.)

Subdued colors are nice, but not really looking for a solid color material unless it's got a cool weave or something. (Tweed?)

I like Houndstooth, but finding a color combo subdued enough seems to be hard. (Grey/black?)

Throw out some suggestions? (We can skip the blue/white flowering penis fabric. I've seen it already.)

Kinda digging some dark paisley, but having a hard time finding it in normal sizes instead of this "Fat Quarter" bullE36 M3.

I came to this thread expecting whale penis interior!

There are several companies which deal in NOS automobile upholstery materials. Maybe you could find something from the 80s with an interesting pattern (if this is for the SFO). Actual auto fabric is generally going to have better color-fastness and wear-ability than the stuff that's intended for couches and such.

Im actually heading to Hancock fabric tonight looking for vynil for my 64. Id suggrst a stop at your towbs fabric store, as there are way too many different types of texture, coloe, workability, wtc.

Some Russian mobster had his car upholstered in leather made of whale penis. Like I said, human tastelessness knows no bounds.
