This kid us my hero!
Joey
Saw this earlier today on another forum. The sound of that little E36 M3's pelvis smashing into the ground is the most joyous sound I've heard all day. Let's see his parents turn him into the victim.
I'm a firm believer that this is the only way bullies should be dealt with--and yes "let's pick on the fat kid" is bullying. That kid will think twice about picking on someone again. Kinda like being the alpha to a dog who gets out of line.
That little E36 M3 thought he was tough because he hung with bigger kids (note the size of his friends in the background). I'm sure his dad was the type who played him up as "a tough kid". That went well for him.
Disgusting that kids were filming this.
If the kid who stood up to him gets in trouble, I hope the school's contact info is made available.
Gad, I hate bullies.
This things gone viral. This is the 4th time I've seen this today.
Common Sense would say "Don't screw with the guy that's twice my size" but some people lack common sense, so to watch him get pile driven makes sense to me.
That little berkeleyer is fortunate that Casey didn't hoist him any higher than that...
shoulda put his foot on the bully's head and doused him with urine (but thats just my opinion...)
i did a similar thing in 5th grade.. one kid that was my friend in 3rd and 4th grade decided that he wanted to start picking on me in subtle ways like tripping me and knocking my books out of my hand stuff like that.. one day, i was walking along a wall on the playground towards the door and he thought he would impress all his new friends by body checking me into the wall like he learned in hockey practice.. he came running at me at full speed, and i pretended that i didn't see him coming.. right as he was going to hit me, i stopped and he flew shoulder first into the wall right in front of me at full speed. he just fell to the ground... it was glorious.. i just walked around him and continued on my merry way.. after that, we were cool again.

So the other kid didn't get suspended for punching him in the face unprovoked?! I smell lawsuit if that's the case...
I don't have a problem with self confidence. What I do have a problem with, is a misplaced, over inflated sense of self confidence. I love seeing someone get knocked down a peg or seven when the deserve it.

I certainly hope the little E36 M3 that started that fight got suspended too.
I was the kid who got picked on too. Only because I never reacted. They thought it would be fun to spend years trying to get a reaction out of me.
This would be why my 6 year old son has been taking jiu jitsu for 6 months. In ~2 years, I pity the "bully" that tries to pick on him.
Not only do I hate bullies, I hate their parents, who obviously raised them that way.
I saw this earlier. First thing I thought?
1 hit combo! 2 hit combo!
C-C-C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER
That puny E36 M3 got what he deserved. You want to punch above your weight class? Be prepared for the consequences. And of course Casey got suspended, and I'm sure the puny E36 M3s parents will try to sue.
"Our little E36 M3 of a son was just acting out, he didn't know any better. Then this big vicious brute fought back which we never thought would happen, which is why we never tried to raise our son better!".
Awesome. The little turd got what he deserved. A decent lawyer will fix the suspension BS- clearly he protected himself after little @$#%#%@%#@#^ hit him multiple times
I'm not sure where this happened, but in Florida, if you're in a fight, you're automatically suspended. It doesn't matter who started it, who finished it, or what it was about. All that matters is that you fought (or fought back).
There sadly will more than likely be a lawsuit against the school where this took place. Most parents don't seem to understand that kids are extremely good at getting teachers and staff away from a fight before it happens. I'm not sure where the lawsuit will come from, but I want to see the little kid's parents sue just to have the judge throw it out.
I was picked on a great deal in school. Walking home one day after school, this kid decided to run at me. The situation was seemingly similar to novaderrik's situation, but mine took place in the open, and instead of letting the kid run past, I kicked him in the gut. I'm not sure how long the kid layed there crying, because I walked the rest of the way home, but I do know that he didn't show of to school for a few days. I think he was afraid I'd kick his arse again.
In reply to dyintorace: Good. When you combine martial arts with good parenting, you end up with kids that don't get into fights at school because they understand the consequences, but can protect themselves should the need arise. It's never too young to teach martial arts.

seems like the lines are already being drawn in the sand... someone has gotten to UTUBE and the vid has been pulled.... "it's too violent" is their excuse
I remember there was a player on another soccer team that kept committing dirty fouls. So when he went up for a header I lowered my shoulder, he did a flip and didn't return to the game.

That's the saddest thing I've read in a long time.
