I know an offroad trail where I can find as many ilegally dumped washing machines as I want...I never thought of taking their motors, sadly...not until after the Samurai broke down :(

I'm always confused by that; why would anyone walk, tow, drag or cart a washing machine, oven or dead freezer way out into the woods when getting money for scrap would be less labor intensive?

Yes. Or dumping old hot tubs in the woods. Right next to the three 1960s cars and trucks that magically got wrapped around the trees that they are rusting against.
When we crashed the rally car off a 30 foot cliff in November, there was a complete toilet next to my door where we stopped I mean, of all places to dump a toilet, the middle of nowhere, down a 30 foot drop. And it wasn't even really broken?! Wheres the fun in that?

I've seen loads of garbage dropped off a bridge into a gulley, it's about a 100ft. drop and far away from civilization...and the area's considered a tourist attraction.
