"Tase the baby," the 39-year-old from Delton, Fla., just north of Orlando, reportedly yelled at police.

Police did not tase the baby.

As the owner of a 5 month old baby, I can say that he would not offer much of a shield.

While a poor choice for shield use, my infant could make a decent offensive weapon what with all the projectile piss, vomit and poop.

I think it was Jeff Foxworthy that mentioned babies, and company you don't like. Ya just shake em up and hand them to the one you don't like.

Just holding the baby would cause a smart cop (I know, that's an oxymoron) not to tase the baby since electricity would also flow into the baby BUT even if it wouldn't then he'd still drop the baby and hurt him.

I actually think it's a smart move on his part. With all the Cops shows and videos on the internet I'd be worried the cops would tase me unnecessarily.
