so friggin tired!! Spent 3 days in the sun selling out product, got completely sun burnt, drove home from New Jersey to Georgia yesterday - left at 7am, got back at 7pm, 850 miles!! there was a time for about 10 minutes after i got home that i didnt care about cars, but it quickly changed. Snapped some pics, will try to throw them up later on...
Ah... Waterfest... that one w/e of the year where as a VW owner, I try to get as far away from NJ as possible... by pure coincidence, I was hiding out in the Catskills... 
haha, it was an utter mess in that town, never been so scared and confused driving on those city streets... i thought Georgia had some aggressive drivers, boy i was wrong...
...and add in a bunch of "spaetzle boys" in various states of inebriation and it's even more fun...
Ha! NJ is where NY and MA drivers go to relax...
Now that I'm a VW owner again, why do I have the urge to get those goofy-ass ear plug things.
Did you get a sunburn from all of those CELs?

haha, ya just about... we had alot of random misfire codes and cat efficiency codes to clear out before we could flash our software on there. That, lots of guidos with no shirts on, crazy girl fights, trash talking by our main competitor APR, but overall fun time for my first visit to N.J.
The girl fights are the only reason to go to NJ. Glad I skipped this year apparently the track was awful.
So, anyone get drunk and run from the police this year?

haha, ya some girl poured her energy drink all over some guy's R32, then that guy's girlfriend started to throw punches and we just stood there laughing, track was pretty awful, nothing spectacular on the drag course, think the quickest time of the weekend was a 10 or 11 sec run, which i laugh at because there are challenge cars from this site doing the same times for less than the price of the wheels on the drag cars on the vw's at the show... but hey they are there to spend money and ill gladly take their money..

nope, but someone tried to steal a Front Mount Intercooler from Black Forest Industries booth, just took it and walked off, and this pretty picture from out front of the gate...

A friend from school won a 3rd place trophy at WaterFest for his Corrado with a VR6 in it. It was well-done, it's sweet that he was recognized for it.

Because he's not actually an attendee of Waterfest, but a local who got caught up in an accident caused by drunk underage kids doing "MAD TYTE DRIVING YO". He's laughing because he's old enough that he can get a rental car while his car is fixed and his insurance rates won't go up. He's also smiling because unlike the other driver, his parents aren't going to kill him.

And yes, the roads suck big time. They should hold next years down in south jersey at the thunderbolt raceway in Millville..

ya we were up in Edison and Englishtown, and the streets are crazy! You are not allowed to make left hand turns at Intersections, and self serve pumps are illegal up there... if you go fart around vwvortex, there is a "N.J. ate my oil pan" thread somewhere and its like 3 or 4 pages long...
