I thought every state ate VW oilpans? I drive a lowered BMW and I never scrape.. and I do not slow down for frostheaves or the like.
And why do people have a problem with not pumping their own gas or not being able to make left turns? Personally, I prefer NOT to pump my own gas.. last thing I want to do is either smell like fuel or be out there in below zero temps or the rain to put 12 gallons in my car.

personally, i'd save the extra buck or so a gallon that gets charged around here for full serve and pump my own gas.

i was just saying ive never seen this before, a state where you dont pump your own gas and the left hand turns was created to cut down accidents. Im saying its a very unique state, guessing if you live there, you know how to navigate the streets pretty well and are accustomed to not pumping gas. Just saying from an outsiders point of view, it was all new to me...
My wife didn't learn to pump her own gas until last year. She's been in MD for five years.

that is the funny thing.. NJ traditionally has some of the cheapest gas in the nation. Figure that one out
