I've been in China for two weeks, just got my feet back on the ground in Detroit.

In the land of China, they don't got no Grassroots Motorsports website. And that's all I got to say about that.

You should have taken some GRM stickers with you.
Wait, on second thought, that might get you in big trouble.
I forgot about the Buick fetish. It is kind of surreal when you consider how little respect a Buick gets in NA.
Funny, I was just in Beijing for the last week and a half myself. It was german car haven where I was at. No GRM all week either :( Nothing major crazy from a car prospective. Just a lot of $$$ where I was at. Pulled into dinner one night and AMG SLS, Maserati's, 5 bentleys, couple of AMG G Wagens. We were in the cheap car in a Q5.
I wouldn't want to drive there. People, cars, and things moving everywhere. just mass chaios.

It's the same with Benzes in the Western world (Edit: as in western side of the Atlantic). In Germany, they're unremarkable cars with slightly upscale aspirations, like a Buick.
I was a little off the beaten path in XI’an recently. About the craziest thing I saw was an early 2000 Cadillac STS all pimped our and blasting rap.
It is funny that the great firewall of china allows free press like Reddit but not GRM goodness. I chuckle about this as I VPN in to the forbidden GRM content when i'm over there.
Welcome back!
Did you dine at work and the hotel or branch out into local shops & delis? Chinese food restaurants were just called Food? I think I would spend a lot of time with the street meat.
I was in Beijing. The food was great. I ate all over the place and really didn't have a bad meal. My local guides made some really good food recommendations. I wish I remembered the names but most were in chinese characters.
I saw more Maserati's than buicks but I was also in the richest part of the city. Really Audi was the big dog where I was at. tons of A4L's and Q5's
