I just got this email from AMC Theaters. They are going to be showing a digitally remastered version of Back to the Future. It will be it's 25th anniversary in October, so they are showing it in 4 shows in two nights. I am excited for this, for this is one of my favorites movies and I would like to see it on the big screen.
I honestly think theaters should show more movies like this. There are a lot of awesome movies that were excellent on the Big Screen.
Back to the Future - 25th Anniversary
I also get to see my dream truck up close.

So good.
My band, 88mph, is playing this Friday for those in the Baltimore area.
When I was in university, one of the clubs held a screening of Jaws.
In the pool. With everyone sitting in innertubes.
I'd go see Back to the Future in a theatre. How could you not?
yeah... celebration around here is doing $3 for the 3 shows
just got tickets for the monday night showing right down the street from my house!
I guess this is one reason why the ION network is running all 3 BTTF movies every weekend this month. I hadn't seen II or III, and now I have more than gotten "caught up".
Dangit they're not offering it in theaters around here.

if ever there was a movie series that needed a gritty reboot, this is it..
with Michael bay directing and George Lucas producing.. what could possibly go wrong?

george lucas would hog tie and rape marty, doc, and biff all in one shot.
Why aren't they playing around here? Are they...chicken.
ONE POINT TWENTY ONE JIGGOWATTS!!!!!!
Wouldn't it make more sense to bring it back to theaters in 2015, since that's the year they travel to in the end? Or maybe that'll be the year they are showing Part II in theaters.

Bay would ruin the whole trilogy. NO

We had a "Dive In" double feature like that:
Jaws and Orca
To bad BTTF isn't showing in Lubbock.

October 25th is the date Marty goes back to 1955.
This may be blasphemous, but I don't care for Back to the Future. To me, it made Deloreans far too popular amongst the masses, and that is an unforgivable sin.

NO! This triology is fine without a re-make it would only taint the name and the originals. Leave them be and just re-play them in theatres.
