damn drywall is heavy
to work above your head
Different progress pic to share:
While doing the sunroom roof, 4 days ago, wife said she wanted to redo the front door. New doors are $600-$1000. We had a good wood door. So took off varnish and restained it. Did it everyday, after sunroom work.
Here is the before and after
Sunroom progress:
Ceiling primer done. Will finish paint tomorrow and it will be done
then watch YouTube learn how to tile floor and start tile on Monday morning. Hope to finish all project by wed/thurs

Hah, thank you!
wish I was as good looking as the picture you posted!

Thank you. Appreciate the kind words, means a lot coming from you.
Yes, the door came out much better than expected. Very happy with it. In the days of metal door, nice to bring back an old wood door.
Figured if you can bring your NC2 to life, least I can do is bring back my door
Also added the plumbing for pool heater. With chimney and vent done - it's fully functional and that is complete now
While taking a break from tiling, I didn't like how the bench I built turned out. Something was off. So I added some wood on the bottom, to make it look "thicker." I think now it looks right. Will stain it over the weekend.

One of those weird things. I thought the bench looked great, but once you added the extra around the bottom, I think it does make it look better.

Thanks! I do think now the floating bench look I was going for is complete. Once I varnish this weekend it will be done.
TO DO LIST TODAY:
that should complete my project. Ahead of May schedule
one panel of fence stain and bench stain I will finish Saturday .
will update pics end of day when I finish work
last day of manual labour. Very excited
That looks awesome! For an amateur that's just learning from YouTube videos I think you've done an incredible job given the timeframe.

Thank you kindly. For never having done grouting or tiling, I think the finish came out well. I had to give my self hard deadlines, so the project got completed. I don't like to see projects just go on for years without completion, just my personality.
Furniture move in, and complete! Time to rest
Final touch
