My wife's son's dog died this evening. Apparantly from a Black Widow bite. Not certain, but seems to be. Cisko was 14yo, lived a good, long life, but I cried like a little girl. Rest in peace, Cisko.

They ARE family. It's only a coincence of birth that I was born with two legs and them with four.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. All dogs go to heaven.
I believe that 99% of dogs are good dogs, and you can usually tell just by looking at them.

Agreed. My pets are such a big part of my life, it doesn't feel right to say that I own them.
Sorry for your loss.
Sorry for your loss. Celebrate your memories of Cisko with a photo collage, I find that has helped me with the passing of my pets.
We are doing the photo collage now for Jacob. (the son) Wifey is a pretty good photog and has a lot of pictures of them to choose from. Thanks all for the good thoughts.
It is like loosing family. Wife's best friend just got back from her honeymoon... to find out her 2yr old Yorkie had a heart attack and died the 2nd day they were gone.
we had dogs for 20 years or so last one died few months ago freakin heartbreaker , we are thinking of getting a couple of kittens my nephew has but still leary of opening our hearts . Luckily we have shop cats that fill the void at home
It was a bad night in Ft. Pierce too. One of my best childhood/current bud's mom was found dead in her house. Sorry about puppy We've lost 4 kittehs in the last couple years. They're all getting to "that age."
I still get all teary eye'd thinking of my buddy "ozzie", he was part of my life for 15 years, puberty, girlfriends, girl chasing, and my first marriage, and the courtship of my current wife. The fool even chased me off a 60ft cliff once. Man I miss him. This always gives me hope to see him again someday. I still go sit out where I buried him on our family's property (one of his favorite walking areas in the woods)sometimes and talk to him when things get rough. I feel for your loss, really do. Pardon me while I go wipe my eyes now. Geez u'd think a 31 year old wouldn't cry over his dog.

If there's a 31 year old out there that doesn't cry over his dog... he's not someone I need to know.
