Fair question. No, the dog couldn't be subdued. The situation was such that if she let go of the dog it would have killed the cat. And it wasn't a pet, it was a rescue foster that she was trying to civilize a bit so he could be placed in a home.

In my family of giant Russians we have somehow dwarfism. During WWII a whole continent of them, clowns at the time, by the pressing of a distant great uncle all joined up and became tailgunner's on the flying fortresses. They were so short that they had to make their own uniforms and got special rules written to enter the fight.

Other then that its all inventors and engineers finding new and better ways for people to kill each other, clean clothes, inventing call waiting and assorted medical devices throughout the ages.
