First I've seen of it. Looks like it works pretty well.

I've had a similar idea. Not identical, but a lot of the same advantages.

the trailer probably weighs as much as the airplane that's on it- and the whole thing probably isn't much more than the tow vehicle- so that's not a good example of unsafe towing practices..
