I haven't read the entire thread, so somebody may have already gone here...Led Zepplin.
But wait, before you burn me at the stake read my reasoning. When John Bonham died, our one and only decent radio station became the Led Zepplin memorial radio station. They only played about 12 different Zepplin songs, but they played at least 4 per hour, every hour, 24/7, 365 days a year for YEARS. I actually chose to start listening to country music (which I had been harassing my father about for years) and I mean the start of bubble gum pop country crap, not good country music. Now, 40 years later I can tolerate a little Zep, but don't repeat any songs that day please.

Tomorrow I might let them listen to something else.

Guns 'n Roses and Nirvana
I listen to everything from The Cramps to Lyle Lovett and Jimmy Cliff to Mozart but the first couple notes of any of their songs has me hitting the search button. The best part is I've been forced to hear them so much I can name that tune in 2 notes and move on before I need ear bleach.

I won’t go as far and say all Zepplin, but I can tell you I have little interest in hearing Stairway to Heaven. That song was WILDLY over played for many years.
I am sure radio stations are the cause of many people’s hate of certain songs. Rock stations got in a huge rut despite lots of potential material, Heck I used to listen to one of those non-DJ stations (JACK) which drew from a playlist 30 years long with probably 10’s of thousands of decent song to pull from, and they would play that asinine song “I’ll drop a bomb on you” at least 3 times a day! I think that was the prime reason I simply stopped listening to the station and any music stations.
The worst time listening to a rock station was Christmas though. They have very little to pull from and they would play the G Damn Springsteen version of Santa Clause is Coming to Town over and over and over....ugh.
