Sunday on the History Channel
The preview showed a beater getting air. I'm gonna watch just for that. I'd be even more interested if they 'poked gentle fun' at the brits as well. I have a professor here who's theory of why the Brits took over so much of the world building up their empire is because it was lunch time and they wanted anything good to eat, which of course meant leaving their island. As a side note, that professor is evil, because his class is 4pm-7pm, and he talks about food every 15 minutes or so.
I must say, though, the english were smart going to India. Curry rocks.

Even though the US show is titled as Top Gear, and is a basically the same format (speculation?), I am going to treat it as its own show. I will watch it and hope for the best. Anyways, some of my favorite tv shows were pretty lame the first 2 or 3 seasons. (Simpsons, Seinfeld, South Park, ...)
