Belly rubs?

My dog really enjoys belly rubs, and I am generally happy to oblige.

But this morning a thought occurred to me:

Where is the Mason-Dixon line between "dog fur" and "dog pubes"?

Also...Am I doing this wrong?

Generally anyone I get a belly rub from is fine to keep going but I spend a lot of time alone

My first thought was, "If this isn't about pets it's going to be real weird."

Then I open the thread, and it's about pets, but it's weird anyway.

Stella has even less belly fur than the Dane.  If you have to ask Woody, maybe you're a cat person!

My dog eats his own turds sometimes.  He's not complaining about belly rubs.

Dog #2 will flop down and boop me with his paw until his tummy has been scratched to his satisfaction.

Real question is, where does it end on a chicken that likes being petted.

Dog pubes?  I've never contemplated this.  If anything, dogs tend to have less hair in that area.

One of my office-mates (guess which one) looooves the belly rub.  The other one prefers to be scratched on the butt.
