And you are surprised, why?
The trouble is, I'm not. But I'm turning into a grumpy old cynic when I see things like this or the way AIG screwed the government...
You'd think that with all the billions spent on things like this, they'd be able to afford a decent contract lawyer.
This infographic is pertinant. I guess 4 billion is not such a big deal in the grand scheme of things

If the government never planned on getting paid back (which i find to be highly likely) then its a good way to subsidize the national auto industry without foreign companies crying like little girls over a few bucks and demanding U.S. auto companies get punished abroad.

In a twisted sort of way, I am amused that an auto manufacturing (?) "entity" refers to itself LEGALLY as Old Car Co.
Wait... That's the actual name??? Who wouldn't want to invest in that?
Is anyone really surprised? Really?
I'm guessing the numbtard who said "It's a LOAN, stupid. They're not STEALING YOUR money. The sky is not falling" to me...on the board a while back, is surprised. I should look that up. Doesn't matter anyway. The response will go something like "Yeah, but Bush spent 'x' on the Iraq war!"
berkeley it.
Good for Chrysler! Apparently when you're bankrupt, you can still afford to run commercials at prime-time every night. Funny how that works. It's like the piece of E36 M3 with the cell phone, high speed internet, and satellite, flat-screen TV who "Can't afford healthcare."
Goddamnit, I was in a good mood 10 minutes ago.
