Best thing about the elections...

First post back since the big swap over. So it may say one post but, I swear there are more.

...The best thing about the elections is the election signs. The are mostly made of the coorigated plastic and work great for lying on under cars, building forms with and many other uses. I have heard that it is illegal to tamper with signs before the elections, but afterwards they are just garbage waiting to hauled off on the corner. I prefer the 4x8's as they are usually made of tougher material. Some of them have some nice posts as well.

now i'm going to have to drag a few home and build something out of them. or maybe just lay them on the garage floor when i have to work under a car this fall / winter.

Those signs are perfect for taping targets to and shooting...

Do I use the McCain ones and get chased off the range? Do I use the Obama ones and get stereotyped to death? I think I'll stick to local Democrats. Or Nader! There were some Nader signs floating around....

Use proposition signs. No one remembers what they where after a week anyway.

At a shooting range I don't think anyone is going to hold it against you for using Democrat signs as targets Or just spraypaint over 'em, no sense letting the McCain signs go to waste

No, but I can just picture a TV crew/reporter/whatever rolling up to interview "disappointed conservatives" and there I am plugging away at an Obama sign. NOT the image I'd enjoy presenting...
