Besides tossing them in the dumpster.
Long story short; I've got 5 or 6 12a/13b engines, They're all rebuild candidates except 1. Take em apart and sell rotors, housings, etc or just sell them whole? Same question about rx-7 transmissions.
I'm not that interested in taking them apart, and 12a stuff is getting rare enough I don't want to send them to the scrap yard. Yet I don't want to take them with me when we move next year. I've put them up for sale before with no takers @ 200$ for the lot. At this point, I'm sick of looking at them.
For sale section of RX7Club / RotaryCarClub? This is for sure one of those situations where the shipping of the items is the hurdle (If I had a way to get them all I would buy them).

Posting on a Rotary forum should get them out of your way.

Sorry, I didn't catch that. Too bad. Too far. There's a bunch of guys up here who'd love to have these.
Yeah Gainesville, FL. Alachua if you want to go by the mailing address. but 7 miles from Gainesville, 7 miles from Alachua, and 7 miles from Newberry says I'm in the middle of nowhere!
All in all, about 10 min away from the host hotel.
Toss them in Steve's truck at the challenge, he can dispose of them at my house on his way home.
Load in trunk, bring to challenge, hand out as trophies?
I'd love to have them but not really up to any travel at the moment. If anybody is going Challenge ---> Columbia SC, I'll lay some gas $ on ya.
It may net me less $$ but I'll try and load them on a trailer for the challenge. Look for the trailer with the engine hoist on it. I'm not picking them up by hand. Transmissions, too if I can pull it off.
Just a heads up, these have been sitting for awhile, and I'm keeping a trans or 2 for the 5th gear. I want to give that ratio a shot in the miata that I'm fixing to start wrenching on.
I will take all I can fit into the van after the challenge, they will be perfect cores for the RX3
locostUSA.com is a great place to post them. I'm pretty sure that's where most of mine went when I had to abandoned the project.

Still looking for sidedraft stuff? If so, I've got something special for ya.

Make your van moar bigger. I could use some cores as well.

I have discovered that a non-running turbo Miata makes an excellent place to set my beer, as I look at the non-running FIAT.
And congrats again, Evan. I was hoping you would do it this year!!!
Isn't the best way of getting rid of rotary parts is to turbocharge said rotary?
