Absolute Fuels was raided last week, and the feds aren't saying much.

Looks like it was something to do with fake Renewable Identification Numbers for biodiesel that wasn't actually made.

However, efforts to make bio-diesel fuel at the company's Anton/Littlefield facility had failed, according to court records. Tests showed the fuel was unusable. Gunselman spent millions of dollars. Court records say Gunselman had 11 vehicles including a 2011 Bentley, and Shelby Cobra 427. He purchased a home in Boerne, Texas for $2.65 million. The company had purchased a private jet worth $2.5 million.

In other words, he was spending the profits from the sales of a product that did not exist...I hate scam artists

How much of that was from our pockets, and our grandchildren's pockets via "shovel ready green energy jobs" stimulus money? I want my Cobra back.

Oh, and Boerne, TX is a real nice area. Pronounced "Burnie."

I'll take the jet or the house, their choice. Boerne is a nice place. So is Gruene (Green). LOL

Having worked with these companies in the past, lets just say I'm not surprised either.
