Seeing as how yesterday was my birthday, apparently my negotiating skills (or my lovable patheticness) were in top form. I managed to score a cheap trailer for the MX bike.
It's a 5 x 10 Pace American Cargosport that had been sitting around my local MX track for a while. The track owner had been storing it for the guy that owned it and had done a little minor work to it. The owner had gotten in arrears in storage fees, and needed to blow town or some such thing, so I managed to pick it up for the few hundred bucks that the track owner was owed in storage fees and hard costs for a few parts.
Overall it's in nice shape. Needs a little TLC as it has "loaned trailer disease." Pretty much everything that happens when you loan a trailer to someone needs to be touched up. Tongue jack is toast, busted taillight and hacked wiring connector. Basically $100 and an afternoon gets it completely seaworthy.
It also had some decorations on the walls inside already. Not sure if I'll keep them or not. But as you can see, the bike and all my stuff fits nice. Needs a fridge.
