I happened upon this interesting creation during my used car search.
Immediately reminded me of:
Gets worse at the back:

It's so strange looking, and the proportions are so out-of-whack, I think I almost like it .
You don't see a real trunk very often these days
The hideousness of that vehicle will haunt my dreams forever
There's a reason it's 'unique' and 'one of a kid'. That thing is NASTY. The Homer is almost pretty in comparison.
Wonder if they were trying to copy this:
Gazelle kit car. Pretty awful in its own right.
MY EYES!!!!!! OH DEAR GOD MY EYES
I'm yelling so you can all understand the gravity of the situation.
Part Mercedes, part Dodge Nitro, all bad.

That's uh..... not working out for me
I like the gazelle kit but the one I saw was pretty poor quality fiberglass and chrome work. I don't even know what the underpinnings are on the gazelle kit but it kind of looks like a mercedes mgtd. That other thing is just bizarro.

I'm pretty sure the Gazelle came either as a VW based kit or a pinto based kit.

steering wheel looks like it says isuzu on it, and the 6-lug wheels look like older trooper wheels
Ok, I had to contact the seller. I need to know what this monstrosity is made from......
I got a reply:
The chassis and mechanicals came from a 1997 Ssangyong Musso which manufacture its mechanicals under licence from Mercedes, hence the Mercedes badges.
Thanks for the interest

Ahhh, of course. That explains the 6-lug 4WD wheels.

But does it explain the insane level of Hideousness?
Wow, something that's actually uglier than a zimmer/gazelle/excalibur kit.

You know it's a quality job when it's got plywood on it!
Please, please, can you undo this thread and we will never speak of this abomination again....EVER
