My son calls it the Boat Tore, I call it West Marine. Went in for the first time recently for some Jet Ski stuff. Wow, they have a lot of stainless steel hardware and other cool stuff! Saw a lot of things that would work on a motorcycle, trailer, exposed race car, etc. If you need stuff that will hold up outdoors, give them a look.
another good place that usually has some decent stainless selection and better hours than west marine is your local Ace hardware. i've picked up a bunch of stainless stuff from them while working on the skis and trailer.
They're ~preposterously~ expensive on SS hardware, resin, gelcoat, cloth, mat, pretty much everything.
My local Ace and Tru Value hardware stores both have pretty good selections of SS hardware, and in a pinch, Home Depot has gallons of resin @ 50% what West Marine sells it for.
Or......you could get stainless / boat parts from a GRM family member:

Tell Ken (my older brother--- owner) you are a GRM reader, and he'll set you up. So much better than going to a big-- faceless company!
He also has a pretty badass 77 Cutlass Vista Cruiser he'll sell you for the right $$$. (no the Vista is just in name---no window in the roof in 77)

Sears Hardware also has a decent supply of stainless stuff in the fastener bins.
I mostly use Bronze... but my boat is older

You are a mean, mean man. I have enough crap to spend money on.
Damn, he's got some cool stuff.
