In looking at all the variations of the Ruger Mark IV, I now have to decide if I want the 22/45 or the Mark IV Target.
Edit: Think I'm leaning this way:

If you prefer 1911 grip angle: 22/45
If you prefer Glock grip angle: Std MkIV
The biggest issue with the 22/45 offerings is all of them have polymer grip frames, and are shorter barrels/aluminum receivers so they're really too light to be traditional "target" pistols in that sense, though I do prefer the 1911 grip angle.
I could do with and end to a certain international conflict that has caused Soviet ammo to be very non-Soviet prices. An AR47 or SKS would be pretty high on my list if that stuff was 9mm money like it should be.
My wife shot her rifle this morning, and had no problems ringing steel out to 400 yds...
Her first EVER 5 shot group at 100yds on paper:
Still just running cheap XTac 55gr... I need to plan a range trip to test some different bullet weights to see what this thing really likes.

She's got me beat! Took my hunting rifle out this weekend, I'm solid at 100 yards, but 300 was not really going well. Need more trigger time on a rifle and long range practice.

In theory, 62-69gr should work pretty well. We're still at ~50 rounds total through the rifle so just getting started. I've got about 6-7 different loads to test from 62-77gr. Once I get an idea what it wants, I'll work on handload. I've never bothered to load for .223, 'cause I've never had a precision rifle in .223, just ARs. I guess the time has come... LOL

She has some skills!!!! That is a nice group!!
I need to get my LMT out. I got a new 762 16" barrel for it and I have yet to test it. It was a cheat code when I was shooting 6.5CM through the 22" barrel.
I would have to look around and see if I still have the target but I was sub MOA with it using the all copper 6.5CM Sig projectiles. It really seemed to like those. I tried some other Sig rounds (regular jacketed hunting rounds) and the groups opened up quite a bit to about 1-1.5 MOA. I have not tried any other 6.5 through it yet to see if there is something else it likes.
And I also need to get my Mosin out. I got it 2-3 months ago and finally got 400 rounds of amo for it.
