Things that work in offensive-comedy cartoons will not necessarily work in real life. Not only did the speech fail to provide positive motivation, but it caused him to lose $25k in the ensuing lawsuit:

For $250,000 you can call me whatever you want as many times as you want
How the times have changed.

Yep, and I'm sure I've already been called worse at some point in my life, so bring it on.
He should have gone with vajajay.

And open himself up for a sexual harassment suit?

$250,000 seems stupid high. So does $25,000.
BRB, gonna bait my boss into calling me a cracker.
People are far to sensitive today. I could be pretty berkeleying rich if I sued every time somebody called me something bad.

Don't get me started with frivilous lawsuites.......
Boss's being sued for slanderous, belittling, and offensive treatment is not frivolous.
Have some respect for people in the workplace. You can call your friends and buddies whatever you want. Act professional when in a professional environment.

Yeah, God forbid that the boss would want to be laidback and join the guys for some fun.
Hang him I say, hang him.
He should have played it safe and went with the 'dicks, Bob Costass and shiny happy people' speech from team America.
My best friend at work is black.
We are in a constant contest to see who can say the most offensive thing to each other. We often joke that is HR heard 10% of what we say to each other, they would fire us on the spot.

Not sure that rant would be considered laying back and having some fun with the guys.
Most people know when they are crossing the line. This guy not only crossed it, he pole vaulted it.

As you did when you ASSumed I was referencing the original post......
Anyways, back to the thread's most meaningful discussion.

From what I gather, it was a wrongful termination/hostile work environment suit, not a "slander" or "You can't call people names" suit. It wasn't the fact that he called her a name, it's the fact that after repeatedly saying "I really don't appreciate being called a n*gger, and I'd appreciate it if it stopped." she was fired. Sounds like a slam-dunk to me.
If Poopy thinks this isn't just a case of someone needing to HTFU and untwist their panties... it probably isn't.

You mean your only post in this thread? Why would ANYBODY assume you were referring to the topic in discussion? Weird...
In reply to poopshovel:
In all fairness, does anyone REALLY like to be called a Nagger?

It's quite possibly the best moment in all of animation history.
I went through a hundred Uncle Ruckus videos and couldn't find one that wouldn't quite likely get me banned.
