I thought it was this guy?
Looked at all three. The reason I like this guy is his pack looks particularly full and heavy. I'm still convince that the second bomb, if it wasn't military grade (and most experts seem to agree it wasn't) had a crap load of low grade explosives in it. The disappearing packs on the other two guys are interesting, though. Then again, "Hi, I'm Clarence, I'm 40, and I live in my parent's basement" dude looks like he's scanning for cameras. And maybe, just maybe, its none of the above. Hopefully the Feds have this all sorted out.
Sorry, "tongue in cheekness" didn't come through very well. My point is there are reasons why each of these people could be "the guy(s)". And also a very good possibility its none of them. Richard Jewell comes to mind.
I don't know if it's been mentioned but the photo on the right is after the bombs went off and this guy and another guy dressed exactly the same are both standing in the middle of the street you can see them here

Lots of speculation.
This is one of those times it is best just to step back a wait it out. Way to easy to get drawn down the wrong path. Especially with all the outlets trying to "out news" each other.
Looking at the pics though makes me think that investigations like this could be crowd sourced in some way to rapidly increase the speed of the investigation (which of course is exactly what is happening above, in a less then official way of course)

I am not sure if you are saying that makes him a more or less likely suspect, but in that picture you linked it looks like they still have their backpacks on. The impression I got was that the bombs were still in the bags when they went off, though I could be mistaken. Also I feel like removing a pressure cooker from a bag would make the bag look more empty and the bags look full still.

I'm saying these dudes look more like security than suspects
From the Washington Post
Apparently convinced they could supplement the FBI’s Boston marathon investigation, Internet vigilantes on Reddit, 4chan and other online message boards began their own crowdsourced sleuthing shortly after midnight on April 17. But as annotated photos from the scene went viral, some of the self-styled sleuths seemed to back off their quest — noting, as many critics had already, that vigilante meddling could hurt innocent people.
Please don't go encouraging this amateur sleuthing. I know it's fun but the more that the picture circulates the greater the possibility that someone will post personal details and ruin someone else's life unintentionally, because once it's posted online it's very very hard to get rid of.
False reports of arrests, bomb scare at the Federal courthouse, ricin sent to the President and some senators...

hmmm.... not as brown as we were initially lead to believe.
One wonders how sure they are these are the ones. I would have to guess pretty certain considering the camera / video coverage.
Clearly not a well thought out "operation" on their part. They did this in an area where every one is taking pictures... but then again, if they were smart...
So, what's the bet, how long before they find one? (probably the one in the white hat first) I am guessing 2 days to a week to at least ID one.

Just heard about this a few minutes ago. We have some coworkers working the finish line there, and we've heard from a few and they are safe. We still haven't heard from some. This is messed up.
Why the hell would anyone want to do this?
Who do you work for, I also have some coworkers that were at the finish line. I shoot for MarathonFoto, I was on course out by Boston College about mile 22.
white hat guy looks.... Italian??? definitely not middle eastern to me anyway
now that bystanders know who they're looking for it's likely better photos or info will emerge
aircooled: somebody knows these guys, I'll bet within hours to a day, two max
Jesus berkeleying christ. This is what it comes to? "They look white to me. I was hoping they'd be brown. Well I'm glad they're white! I don't think they're white. They look foreign."
THEY KILLED AND INJURED A BUNCH OF INNOCENT PEOPLE INCLUDING LITTLE KIDS!
Why the berkeley are people obsessed with what color they are? I'd expect this E36 M3 if I was on facebook or twitter. Didn't expect it here.
Maybe we deserve to be blown to berkeleying bits.

Dude, you read my mind. This picking out what race they are is stupid and annoying.

Fair enough. I'll delete my post WRT that aspect of the story. You're right...the race doesn't matter. (...and as I had shown in the about-to-be-deleted post, would be hard to determine, anway.) That was kind of what I was trying to demonstrate, although I did it in a rather inept manner.
I may move some of the girls' pics over to good gawd almighty, though

Mike rules.
A little while back, someone said to me, Yeah, you look American.
I look American? What the F does that mean?
Anyway, guilty or not, hopefully the FBI finds those two guys first.

Race matters in the sense that the reaction, both politically and publicly will be different depending on if these guys are foreign or domestic terrorists.

I believe you are primarily responding to a post that was deleted, but my comment on color was in reference to at the fact that the media reported at one point the suspect was "dark skinned" with apparently no justification.
In one way it may be better that they may not be foreign, since it is less likely the have left or, will try to leave, the country and there will likely be more people that will recognize them.
FWIW they are saying the white hat dude is a suspect based on the fact he is walking near the other guy (who is hard to make out) at two different points. Doesn't seem to me that they are "together" just one walking behind the other.
Unfortunately, one side wants it to be a certain kind of person and the other side wants it to be a certain kind of person for their own gain. This will be used to push some agenda, hate to say it, but I saw it just a few hours after it happened. In the meantime, families are suffering great loss and pain. It sucks.

Exactly.
My post wasn't directed at Joey or anyone else on this forum, I am just sick of hearing about race in this tragedy as if it ends up being a particular race or another, that one side wins. I am hearing this E36 M3 at work and it makes me not even want to talk about it at work.

Racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds do not equal national background.
