My favorite part is down in the comments where the builder says he built it just because he wanted a radial engine. No plans to put it in anything, just wanted a radial engine so he designed and built one.

Two questions.

1) Is the centerline of the crank eccentric? If so, how does that translate to a spinning propeller? Gears?

2) Does the VW engine not require lubrication of the lifters, rockers, etc? If so, how would that be accomplished?
