I've never been to a brew pub, and I'm somewhat new to good beer. Like less than 2 years. I haven't really thought about going to a brew pub until now. My birthday is coming up, and I think it would be a good night out. My issues is that I don't know where any are. I'd like to stay somewhere between Gainesville and Daytona, but I could head to Jacksonville if there is an awesome pub up there.
Cigar City in Tampa has a tasting room, one of the highest rated breweries in the country right now and best in Florida.
Tampa is a little far, but I'm in if the wife is. Since it's my birthday, she better be in.
