My wife collects nail polishes. I was looking at a couple of her favorite brands for a stocking stuffer and when I was browsing the goofy British related names of the Butter London brand, I came across British Racing Green.
Hope she likes it. ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/laugh-18.png)
Maybe I can get her to paint her nails Aston Martin colors.![](/media/img/icons/smilies/crazy-18.png)

Hell, when I wanted a flashy red (back in the 80s, before nails were anything but shades of red) for a car model, I'd hit a nail polish rack. Add some thinner and shoot it through the airbrush and bam! Sweet finish. 8)

The pic was labeled as Aston Martin Racing Colours.
I guess this is where they got the idea:

You may now laugh but I go to Ulta to look at the nail polish colors when I a looking to paint a hot rod.
Every freakin shade on the plant

I go into Ulta all the time with my wife. I am glad I do too, because I know what she likes and I know what to buy her for presents. ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/wink-18.png)
What do the ladies of GRM think?
Years ago I heard of a show-car guy buying nail polish in bulk to paint his car, and that it won best finish in multiple shows. Don't remember the details or know if it was true.

I can't imagine what that cost.. considering how little polish you get in a bottle and how much they charge for it.
From what I have seen though.. isn't the stuff a bit fragile? It certainly comes off easily enough
I need a girl that rocks Gulf blue and orange.

To much Yellow. .
Yellow? Colorblind?
I think he is saying its not a dark enough green- they have too much yellow in the mix.
I agree- proper BRG is much darker than that.

A true GRM girl would say, "Long nails get in the way of wrenching."

I once test drove a Lotus Elsie that was BRG with Oxblood leather interior and I am fairly convinced that it was the best color combination that I've ever seen on that car.
