Long story short: 14 y.o. joy rides grandpas Veloster. Police Chase ensues, so kid cuts through same park twice which is full of kids. Angered parent takes things into their own hands and rams car with, well, a Ram.

The driver of that veloster has proven their worth as girlfriend material in lockup

if he had been arrested just the joyride I'd agree but running from the cops, driving through a park full of kids TWICE and attempting to do it a third time. little boy is gonna do a little time at least
Probably the standard "your bad desicion (to save kids lives) isn't covered by your policy" line. However, The police owe the Dozer a new bumper, assuming that thing sustained any damage at all.
He's going to be on the hook for his decision.
I suspect that the internet will fix his awful truck though.
Yeah, that dozer's gonna get fixed by the internet mobsters- or he's getting a new one. Reddit's a powerful force these days.

Nor a white truck.......but to be fair, I don't think hyundai know what to call the veloster. I mean, is it a 3 or a 4 door hatch?

Doesn't look like any damage to the truck. The internet and several companies want to fix and upgrade it already.

From that picture alone it looks like new grill, whole new bumper and mounts for it, serious cooling system check, steering, and front suspension checkout. but nin the comments section also there is a shop talking about wanting to fix the truck for free straight up
Great now every soccer mom and her dude will justify owning such a truck for the safety of the community.

For the duration of their 15 minute attention span anyhow. Oh look, cat pictures!

That might be the first time I've seen sidewalks that were made for trees in them, yet have the trees cut down.

You should come visit Chicago Heights. They did this and when it was complete, they planted Palm Trees. In Illinois. 15 years ago.
Yeah, you can figure how well that worked out.
