On IE Youtube plays fine on my laptop.
On Firefox, when I click on Youtube link, I get "an error occured, please try again later". "Later" has been going for a week or so.
Is there an easy fix?

I just noticed the same thing yesterday...chrome plays youtube, firefox doesn't. I expect that it is something involving a plugin needing an update...

I never had an issue like that with Firefox, BUT... I have long noticed that Youtube and any other embedded-video sites are much happier playing in IE than Firefox.
I have noticed that I often have to wait for Google-analytics to snoop on me.
Then I'm allowed to see youtube.
Can slow things down quite a bit at times.
My Ubuntu machine has a weird Firefox/YouTube issue now too - everything is tinted blue. It's like watching Blue Man Group perform every vid.
my browser problem is odd. If I try to load a youtube page, like this, I cannot see the video; there's a black box where it should be. If I go directly to the video on the youtube server, I see it without any issues.
I run FF and haven't had many problems other than the odd page that "Works best in IE"....and actually means it.
Don't have a problem on youtube at all.
There is a Flash player bug with FF and adobe's POS.
Update to the latest Flash player (11.x), or back date to version 10 and it should work more consistently again.
I've already updated, and that didn't help. I'll probably just switch to chrome...it works with no issues.
