But on what format? MP3, vinyl, CD, tape? I need to know.

I hope the Flowerpot Men get a few royalty kickbacks from this. "Beat City" is the gem on that soundtrack. That simple drop tuned arpeggio riff is an earworm of the highest order. It is a really difficult album to find.

Great. Now I will be scouring discogs.com for the vinyl version.

On a related side note. I had that mp3 on my phone playing through the becker radio of the 63 Ferrari 250 we restored when I was putting break in miles on the car. I managed to be on a freeway on ramp right when the "run, run, run" part was playing and I was able to wind that V12 out just like the movie. It was probably one of the best moments in my life.

Best introduction/band name synergy ever.

The Kathy Lee Harvey Oswalds have something to say to you about that.

Unless I'm missing your point, (which seems to be portmanteau-ish band name), I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing. I was pointing out Ben Stein using his lines from Ferris Bueller's Day Off to introduce the band Save Ferris when it was on his talk show.

+10 points for using the word portmanteau.
