I hope the Flowerpot Men get a few royalty kickbacks from this. "Beat City" is the gem on that soundtrack. That simple drop tuned arpeggio riff is an earworm of the highest order. It is a really difficult album to find.

On a related side note. I had that mp3 on my phone playing through the becker radio of the 63 Ferrari 250 we restored when I was putting break in miles on the car. I managed to be on a freeway on ramp right when the "run, run, run" part was playing and I was able to wind that V12 out just like the movie. It was probably one of the best moments in my life.

Unless I'm missing your point, (which seems to be portmanteau-ish band name), I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing. I was pointing out Ben Stein using his lines from Ferris Bueller's Day Off to introduce the band Save Ferris when it was on his talk show.
