So I'm working on a fence and soon a deck and a whole french drain/dry well drain thing. Here is the fence so far. The front fence is horizontal with treated pine and I stained it with Olympic semi transparent in "Cinder". I think I like it. Ultimately thee will be landscaping in front with smaller evergreens and large "modern house numbers" on it. The back fence will just be a regular privacy fence, this kind of fencing gets a little pricey. Anyway. thought I'd post a pic;

Looks good and I like that color. I always heard you weren't supposed to finish treated wood right away, I dunno if there is any truth to that though.

Yes, you should wait a little while before staining wet treated lumber. How long exactly is debatable. I gave it two weeks in partial sun.
