So... the last probably... 4 days now, i've had intermittent burning sensation going on across the backs of my middle, ring, and pinky fingers. Only on the right hand. No cuts, bruises, or any other visible damage. They aren't puffy, don't feel warm to the touch, or anything. Obviously, there's some scarring from old battle wounds and the like, but nothing serious.
Only in between the first two knuckles from hand.
Am i having mini-strokes or what?
Read up on Ulnar Nerve Entrapment or Cubital Tunnel Syndrome. Same thing, different name.

hurt your neck recently?
No, but i have done that badly enough to end up with a burning feeling across my shoulders. That sucked.
I'm not sure the Cubital Tunnel Sydrome is what's going on. Says numbness and "hit funny bone" feeling. This is just a straight up hot feeling, no numbness. (Though... my left thigh feels numb all the time, so that's fun.)
Is somebody pranking you with habanero juice?
Been working with harsh chemicals recently?
Yeah, i've had RTV, coolant, brake cleaner, engine brite degreaser, oil, gas, purple power, etc etc etc all over my hands for about the last two weeks on and off.
That's awfully far away, and you guys know everything.
I'm mostly just wondering if anyone else has ever had this. I'm not particularly worried, i still have full range of motion, it doesn't really hurt, and i'm not losing strength in those fingers.
If you've been working with all those chemicals I'm surprised your hands aren't worse! I've had burning that lasts around 24 hours from even just washing with dish soap too often, 4 days is a lot though...if you haven't been using those chemicals in that time then I'd say +1 for seeing a doctor.
Saturday was the last day i was covered in them.
I'm not sure if it's a chemical thing, though... i've had far worse on me, and i've been covered with all this crap at least 2-3x a week for the last few years. It's not a surface burning feeling, skin isn't irritated at all.
My hands are silky smooth like a baby's butt between all the scarring. Drives SWMBO nuts that i get to have soft smooth skins. She's so jelly it hurts.
Oh yeah, i forgot old used trans fluid and diff fluid. Had those things, too.
Interestingly, much of this stuff was on my face, too, but my face doesn't burn. Or my left hand. Just half of three fingers on my right hand.
YOU CAN'T EXPLAIN THAT!

Don't know if it's part of what I've got, but I suspect it is. compliments the Carpel Tunnel. For me it's not usually numbness and has never been a funny bone sensation. It's usually the sensation of cold water running down the back of my hand and dripping off my little and ring fingers, and somewhat the middle finger. A long day spent riding will pretty much guarantee I'll have a few days of this.
Try switching it up and using your left hand for a couple days. And stop gripping it so tightly.
....the stranger...
Bad road officially taken.

If that doesn't help, try sitting on your hand for a few minutes first......
I DID do a 60k service on a buddy of mine's Miata. So there were a few Miatas in one place at one time, and we all know how that goes.

This seems like the most reasonable explanation.

New girlfriend with a questionable past?
SWMBO doesn't suddenly feel strange or anything.
