Saw one in the wild yesterday, broken on side of road.
I dunno how I like it in real life. Its one of those body shapes that had me thinking constantly about it, but I can't make up my mind if I like it or hate it.
Any other similar reactions?

Saw a meme yesterday comparing it to the aztec. Aparently same designer. As a note we used to rub our asses on aztecs when we saw them as teens
It's funny, I forget, living in Michigan we've been seeing them since early spring at least.
They look ok...ish. I think it looks like they forgot to tame down the show car for production or something. I think it will appeal to the 14 year old set.
I like drboosts description... It's the automotive equivalent of typing in all caps!

Saw one in person for the first time at Sebring 12hr last year. I really liked it. The only thing I wasn't too excited about was the round quad tip exhaust. Other than that I thought the styling was great. If I were in the market for a $55K car I'd definitely consider it.
But, I'm not in that market, probably never will be.

give it a couple of years, and the current new ones will be $20k cars..

Exact same reaction, actually. I don't love it. I don't hate it. I'd like to see one up close. Saw one headed in the opposite direction on the way to work this morning and went "WHOA! NEW VETTE!" Followed by "Meh."
My reaction when I saw one in March was like Poopshovel, whoa! I drove like shouldn't have to catch it, talked to the driver he said it was already outfitted with headers (LG Motorsports is based in Dallas, figured it was a test vehicle). Saw one yesterday and I was like COOL!, then Meh!. C6 left me cold and C7 seems more of the same.

You mean C6 or C7? C7 probably won't hit $20k for 10-15 years, if even then. Sadly for me Corvettes do not depreciate that fast.
What's a 15 year old Vette (1998) worth today?
A C7 could very well be a 20k car in 15 years. I'm watching the C6's. ;)
When I was in Monterey, I saw tons of them in the wild, up-close, on track, etc... The inside is really nice, and with the right color (especially black) it looks pretty good....except for the back of it. No matter what color, scenery, etc... the back looks way too busy and vulgar. It makes a really nice car look cheap.

You can get into c5Z money (early 2000's... 10-15yr old) for 20, normal vette for well under that. I wouldn;t be surprised if c6's were down into the 20's for early ones.
I've seen a few c6's under $20k lately. The c7 is a very nice car and the how the styling looks depends on what color the car as usual. The yellow one floating around here looked better than the c5 & c6 IMHO.
Same some IRL for the first time yesterday, but they were covered with tarps being hauled down the 401.
It looks like the first Corvette with really good handling from the factory. Even though the C5 & C6 can turn really hard they have some nasty understeer tendencies when stock.
I saw my 1st one yesterday at ALMS at VIR.
I like it, rear end seemed a bit bulbous but I guess that's what you gotta do if you want to haul your golf clubs around.
My last Corvette was a '64. A Corvette every 50 years isn't so unreasonable is it? Trying to convince SWMBO.
Looks like the first truckload is arriving at one of our local dealers.
They are dressed like prize sheep or Klansmen at this point though.
Wheels/tires looked huge.

Yeah me too. TBH not many Corvettes over the years blow me away with the styling.
But I would still like one.
I feel like in the pictures the front end doesn't look at that different from the C6, but then I see it from different angles in the real world and the nose looks huge and upturned.
