pretty easy to work with. Works well with png files. Be careful if you use backgrounds - like black backgrounds on black shirts - it will show.

Not shirts, but I did a calendar with CafePress one year....They live in perpetual fear of lawyers, and thus gave me all kinds of grief about a VW beetle photo from one of our autocrosses. Here's a letter from that exchange:

Hello Ann, (....and the cc'd lawyers from Howard, Phillips & Andersen, and ) On 11/29/06, CafePress.com Content Usage Team wrote: > > Dear Joey Maier, > > Thank you for contacting CafePress.com! > > We apologize for any inconvenience this matter may have caused you. >The image in question is image#15999050, which is of > the VW Bug. This is a photo of an autocross participant; i.e. one of the members of my autocross club. The photo was taken by *, my father, on the day of Nov. 12 at one our autocross events. You are correct, this individual does race a VW Beetle in H Stock. > Unfortunately, your use of this image may be problematic. Please be > aware that CafePress.com previously received notice from > Gregory D. Phillips, on behalf of Volkswagen of America, Inc. provided > us with a notice stating that the use of images bearing the distinctive > shape of the Classic and New Volkswagen vehicles, the VW Emblem > and/or other VW trademarks and trade dress infringes upon their > intellectual property rights (trademark/copyright). I understand your caution in this situation. Obviously nobody wants to be dealing with a lawsuit from Mr. Phillips and/or VW of America. I will gladly remove *****'s picture from my calendar and substitute a picture of a driver who races a car that is not a VW Bug. Please give me 24 hours to do so as I don't have the ability to choose and crop a new photo while at work. > Accordingly, we have set the content that is alleged to infringe the rights > of the third party to "pending status" which disables said content from >being displayed in your shop or purchased by the public. Again, your caution is understood, and I'm happy to comply as I also don't want to face the wrath of the excessivly litiguous Mr. Phillips. > If you believe that you hold the rights to the content alleged to infringe >the rights of the third party, we encourage you to contact the alleged >rights holder directly for a resolution to this matter. Below please find >the contact information for the party alleging infringement. I do believe that we hold the rights to photos we have taken. Unfortunately, I realize that addressing Mr. Phillips in a court would be expensive and take a considerable length of time.....thus eliminating the possibility of using a photo of ****** (who coincidently happened to be driving a beetle) in the christmas calendar I will be giving as a gift at our autocross club's christmas party. > We apologize for any trouble this matter may cause you. Please let > us know if we can be of further assistance. This circumstance is unfortunate, but I appreciate your personal response and attention to the situation. Since the lawyers of Howard, Phillips & Andersen, OTOH, are carbon copied in on this letter, I'd just like to point out what a great disservice they are doing to their client, VolksWagon of America. VW's marketing department has spent LOTS of money on ads like this http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=VW+fast&hl=en that are designed to convince people that VW cars are sporty and fast. Howard, Phillips & Andersen's legal threats are undermining the efforts of the VW of America marketing department by making it difficult to show photos of people driving VW cars in amature motorsports. This makes it less likely that VW cars will be viewed as sporty and exciting.

Now I use zazzle.com.....similar service, less stupidity.
