Found a bike around Mansfield PA. If i can close the deal in the next day or two that would be great.

Can someone A) check it out and B) complete the sale/ store it a few weeks till i can come out that way?

I can send a money order/check and all that...PM me.

Thanks in advance.

I used to live real close to that, few hours away now but my weekend is booked. Wellsboro pa is home of the STPR (Susquehannock) rally btw!

That area is now flooded with marcellus shale oil money so there is a relatively large amount of money there now. What I am implying, unless you know the guy personally, I would be willing to bet it will be sold soon, or if its still available, its probably broken.

If you do something this weekend I can't help as I'm out of town, but if your swinging through later next week I am near state college with lots of tools but nowhere to work (I have an apartment now; always have the street?)

I wish I could help, but don't think I can other than local knowledge, sorry. Sweet looking bike either way, good luck!

That is very close...to the middle of nowhere. (I used to have a cabin nearby in Roulette, PA.) I am 4 hours in Pittsburgh if you need to stop on the way to Ohio for some wrenching.

These are the kinds of trips that stories are made of! If you want it, go get it.
The idea of "bus out" will likely not work since it is a remote area. I would grab a friend (co-driver) and a PU/Van and pull it all off in one big Saturday. Out of your house at 6am, arrive at 11am - load in PU, back home before the sun sets.

Sorry, that's about 2.5 hours from me. It is on the way to Watkins Glen, though, pity I'm not going there

Look into a big bus into Elmira/Corning NY area, even an airport you can fly into.

After that, check http://emtatransit.com/bus-schedules/

EMTA is the local bus for the central NE pa area; its not great but it runs, they do runs "up to the mall" which is conveniently located within a mile or so of the airport in Horseheads/Elmira NY (called Arnot mall).

So you could fly/bus into elmira and catch the blue emta bus to mansfield/wellsboro/some agreed on place.

Looks like route 70 goes mall to PA places (on even dated saturdays lol)
