Zombies infect obstacle course

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Zombie mania is sweeping the country, but so is the obstacle course craze -- complete with tortuous tracks, pocked with mud pits and tall walls. Now there's a company that's combining the two: zombies and boot-camp style race courses, and it's just in time for Halloween. On Saturday, Reed Street Productions will launch its first zombie-infested obstacle course race in the woods of Maryland. Ryan Hogan, a managing member of Reed Street Productions, said that 9,700 runners have bought tickets to compete in the Run For Your Lives race, where they'll run a 5K track and negotiate a dozen obstacles.

Saw an ad for that the other day. It looked fun.

So... 1/4 of a Tough Mudder with zombies.

Add paintball guns and liquor and I am there.

Don't forget the chainsaws and machetes.

ok, that make running a lot more interesting. +1 on the paintball guns.

Zombies are rather uncoordinated. I think I could last longer than that.

Sounds fun, wish they did one here!

Depends on what kind of Zombies we're talking about. Classic Zombies? No problem. Rage-virus type Zombies? Many problems.

Don't I only have to outrun the slower bunch?
