To All you North of the Border, or ex-pats, Happy Canadian Tnaksgiving Day to you all. Enjoy!

If this magazine thing doesn't work out, you can always fall back on your standup routine.
It must have been great if you can still say so in spite of the whole connecting rod thing. A double-double is hereby raised in your honour (with a U)!
It's all about point-of-view... car died near a beautiful shade tree, I had an hour to send some texts and tweets while I waited for tow, turned out I knew the tow-driver's son... and now I have a good excuse for a new engine! Mmmmm, double-double!
I'm being oppressed. I'm being forced to work on a day my cultural heritage says should be a holiday!

Yar, free market, capitalism, USA good, socialist Canuckland bad
Wait, don't you own your own company?
I worked all weekend, and would be working today if they hadn't waited until Friday to ask me.
I'd rather have the double time and a half than the Turkey dinner.
Super dirt week also falls on this weekend every year. Couldn't make it this year.

I don't own FM! I'm one of the downtrodden masses, workin' for the man. And being oppressed.
Not that I'm volunteering to work on US Thanksgiving or anything.
Freelancer here... which means I'm working tonight. Otherwise, I won't eat... or be able to buy that new engine.
Keith, if I look up "downtrodden" in a dictionary, I don't exactly see a guy booting around in an LS-powered Miata, for work.
Thanks, all -- it was a beautiful weekend in Southern Ontario (lots of sun, and warmth ). Turkey yesterday, and today -- 200 kms on the Mosport GP track in the Miata.
Holidays don't get much better,

It was a beautiful weekend ... while I was at work. I was looking forward to a good couple of hours on the hare scramble course after dinner, to work off the turkey, and it rained all day AGAIN
Hey Happy Thanksgiving.... I was wondering, how is it living in Canada ? I want to go there to check out the landscape.
Anyone else been there ?
It sounds like a nice place to live.

Huh, you're right. Weird. I'll have to pencil that in to mine then.
Living in Canada is like living in the US, but with shades of grey in the political landscape and a national identity self-confidence problem. And funny spelling.

I really don't think this guy is a canoe... Look at his other posts. Questionable, but not very canoeish all things considered.
