Canadians driving to Florida or already driving in Florida.. You now need an international drivers license.

Apparently they're changing the law to exempt Canadians. Police have been instructed not to ticket Canadians. Go Florida go!
The only thing worse than Canadians clogging the interstates on the way to Florida is NO Canadians clogging the interstates on the way to Florida?
so.. Florida does it again? Do they really try to be the stupidist state in the country? This is a state that has NASA for gods sake!

Fixed that for y'all.
Go ahead and bag on Florida all you want kids........here's a little defense of where I live:
NASA still has a presence in FL--- they just don't blast off the Shuttle there anymore. Rockets and satellites are still frequently blasted into orbit from Kennedy Space Center.
Today it is rainy, so I had put the top up. Last weekend I rode my motorcycle about 50 miles--- with only a mesh-riding jacket on. Girls wear swimsuits year round.
You can buy a nice home, within easy walking distance to one of the nicest beaches anywhere-- for well under $100K. You can also get a beer for $3 or so, and a good dinner for under $20 pretty much anywhere.
I can see dolphins everyday in the wild if I choose to
If you like to fish, there is no better place
Surfing is good--- and year round. (multiple world champ Kelly Slater learned to surf here)
Racing season never ends. Have you hear of a track called Daytona? Also, I'll be seeing the World of Outlaws guys this weekend in nearby Bunnell.
Yes the politics / laws are bit screwy.....where aren't they? California? Chicago? NY?
I'm not saying FL is perfect, or the place you'd like to be, but for many, many people it's pretty damn nice down here.
Anyplace is what you make of it--- if you dwell on the negative anywhere will suck. If you concentrate on positive things--- FL is a pretty great place to live.
In reply to Joe Gearin:
I agree. Every time I'm there, I think how great it would be to live in rural Florida, and be able to pursue my hobbies year round. I can't convince my wife, but maybe if we try it one winter when I'm retired, she'll see.

The problem is 97% of Canadians currently in Florida are old enough to remember when there weren't any cars.

yeah, but they were looking for the fountain of youth and found a huge swamp full of gators instead..
Florida can suck it.
I don't need to go there for nice weather, it's plenty fine here on the west coast.
I put 200km on my bike on the weekend and it was nice and sunny.

They haven't said anything about arresting them.
