Hi guys, Although I don't post on here a lot, I do check the forums every day. I know this site is full of extremely nice people, and thought I would try to spread the word of a classmate of mine. It's starting to go viral, and if everybody invites their FB friends it can only help the cause.

Kevin Mcguire is an 18 year old senior at my South Jersey High School. He was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 13, and beat it in the spring of 2010. Throughout his struggles he still managed to be a star football player and maintain amazing grades. Recently he was diagnosed with leukemia for a second time. He will be out of school for the rest of the year. His sister started a page for him that seems like a long shot, but is getting huge. Kevin wants to take Taylor Swift to our prom (which happens to fall on his 19th Birthday). The story is all over the local news, has hit radio stations from Philly to Dallas and everywhere in between, as well as major news sites such as The Huffington Post, VH1,CMT, and Perez Hilton. If I were 18, instead of 59, I'd love to take Taylor Swift to a dance. Come to think of it, I'd probably enjoy it at 59 !

But there are too many better options! She so...Sweet and sincere. He may think shes cute, but Im sure there are other girls who would show him a much ahem better time!

Lol I don't know why specifically Taylor, but to each his own!

However she did finally respond on her Facebook page. She said she "cant make Prom...but the ACM awards are coming up soon... would you be my date? -Love Taylor"

It's amazing to see how in just 3 days our tiny community got the recognition of a global superstar. To those who joined the group thank you very much. As much as I would have loved to say Taylor Swift went to my prom, the end result is just as good for Kev. Thanks again guys!
