A canoe is a lightweight narrow vessel, typically pointed at both ends and open on top, propelled by one or more seated or kneeling paddlers facing the direction of travel using a single-bladed paddle. I buy 2 canoe for fishing from [canoe paddler's site here].

This has gotta be a member trolling us, right?
I have in fact trolled while fishing from a canoe. Gotta paddle your ass off.
Wow, that's... beautiful. We finally attracted an actual canoe bot.
I removed the link and inactivated the user, but I'm leaving the thread because it feels like we willed this one into life.

If you build it, they will come
I feel like this thread deserves a sticky. Just so future generations know what we achieved.
This may be the most GRM thread ever; to wit- A website for building all manner of vehicles nicknames spammers "canoes", proceeds to improve upon canoe catching, and then ultimately captures a canoe about canoeing...
If that's not the internet equivalent of building a 10 second car for 2 Grand, I don't know what is...
I have to think that the number of times people refer to "canoe" has lead to this wretched end.
Margie, if I was a 16 year old boy, I'd be petrified.

FTFY
As an aside, I was all ready to get into a serious discussion regarding the merits of using a canoe for fishing, along with some mods that help. I've spent a non-trival bit of time in canoes and kayaks.
It's me!
The do-it-all trailer that winds up carrying kayaks most of the time.
That is hilarious. I do wonder if some spam bot has scanned previous posts, saw that the word canoe comes up frequently on this site, and decided that we are a watersports group that would like to buy watercraft?

Did not realize what that meant until I googled it just now. Yeah, definitely do not want that.
I finally got serious about rigging mine for fishing, but it was also right about the time I got more active on the GRM forum.
This is the last time I had it out. I've owned it since the 70's. A lot of fish have been caught from it.
July, 2017. I'll get back to it, but I'm all about autocross right now.
In my case, GRM truly is the anti-canoe!

Dats wus wrong wit canoes deez days, Margie. Day can't handle da smoke!
I'm just glad I was here to witness this moment in history!
If only the OP specifically mentioned fishing for flounder.
canoes can also be sailed.. I have plans to build one in my sweaty hands right now
The term "canoe" and its usage is now 20 years old. This entire thread is the worst thing that can happen when using the word "canoe." I can live with fending off a canoe-related thread every 20 years.

Skin on frame, stitch and glue, strip built, fiberglass???
I've thought about a sailing set up for mine. I really need to get back to it.
I also bought a 2.5 Mercury and a johnboat trailer for it. It would have to have an outrigger before I could safely mount the gas outboard.

Ya know, real spammers make their money by providing me with an air-cooled 911...
"...and I just want a million dollars..."
I feel like I specifically requested this more than once. Finally it happened.

Stitch and Glue. Should be a fun little project

I'm lofting the plans for a 17' kayak right now. Finished boat will weigh about 40 lbs; skin on frame construction.
