So I finally got a Blackberry Curve 8330. I wish it was an iPhone, but I didn't want AT&T's bad service (so I suffer with Verizon's bad service ). My fat fingertips couldn't type on the BB Storm.

So what apps are available for a Blackberry that are cool to a car guy? I'd spend the money for the Dynolicious (and probably rarely use it), but that's not available for my device.

Any ideas?

Not really a car guy app but I like reading GRM from my BB using the Opera Mini browser. Download it here:

I find BOLT Browser works faster and better.

also I run the Google app. has GPS and Voice searches (based on current location)

iPhone has a reasonably accurate Dynomometer program.

So, either Opera sucks ass, or I can't figure it out. Some screens appear the same as on my 14" monitor, but on a 2" monitor. There is a zoom function, if I knew what I was zooming in to. It's like trying to view my computer monitor thru a toilet paper tube, one inch at a time.

Also, whenever I have to type in something (like my screen name and password), I have to highlight that area and push the trackball, which takes me to a blank screen where I type, then hit the trackball once to get a drop down menu, then again to select "OK".

I'll play with it and see what I'm doing wrong, but I don't see what all the hype is about.
