Hey guys, A really good friend of mine is getting married next month, and I was hoping to get something cool for them as a wedding gift. I was hoping it could be car guy related as he is a real gear head, and they don't need a bread machine. He really is into vintage Japanese cars, but owns all sorts of cars. His future wife is also a car-gal, and I'm sure wouldn't hate us if we got them something car related. Any ideas? Not looking to break the bank by the way.
CG Lock? Track night in America registration? Subscription to a favorite low budget motorsports magazine?
I got a friend a roll bar for his Miata. Not cheap but he and his wife both dug it.
I gave Gimp and his wife a drill press
Tools are always good. A friend gave me a subscription too car craft for 5 years when i got married.
I'd be tempted to custom-make a shift knob that commemorates the wedding.
Coffee table?
I like the shift knob idea too.
first time I read the above poster....
I thought I read "I gave a gimp and a drill press."
Any other ideas? Wedding coming up in 2 weeks.
Do they have a particular marque they both like? Maybe a nice flag or banner to hang in their garage?
This is a tough one...

That's almost exactly what I would suggest!
What about cleaning a rotor and housing and gifting that as a trophy?
I have an extra if you need
I also found table glass at our local "habitat for humanity". I paid $10 for what could potentially be the glass top to our "top gear-ish engine coffee table"
If you found something similar, that might make a neat gift.
How about finding his favorite marque/model original sales poster in a nice frame?
My buddy found me a 91 brg miata poster. Looks great in the garage!
^^^ that is a great idea!
I have to second the rotor idea. That's badass.
Buddy got me a nice snap on ratchet
