Car Storage in Daytona, FL

Hi All,

I am debating doing something foolish (aren't we all), and buying a cool car in the next month, then using it as my "rental" car for work through the first couple of months of next year at various race events (Rolex 24, Daytona 500, NHRA Gainesville, Sebring 12 hour).  Basically fly into Daytona or Orlando, drive the car for the days I'm there, put it back into storage, and fly home.  After Sebring, I would drive the car back to Virginia.

Does anyone know of a reasonable storage option in Orlando or Daytona that would let me keep the car on a battery tender and accessible?  I'm not expecting https://automotorplex.com/  levels of opulence, but if there was something similar that would rent me a spot for 3 months, I'd consider it.  I'm sure a u-store-it type place would be fine too, but looking at options a step up from that to start...

"Speedway Self Storage" had no website

There were a number of U-haul/Public storage places with exterior 10'x20' units in both Daytona and Deland that would be my fallback option, but curious if anyone local has more experience. 

They are building tons of storage facilities in central florida, some have an outdoor covered parking area. I assume all of them are going to cost some pretty stupid $. I dont think you can can get a car sized storage unit for less than 150-200 a month. Im in deland. 

I'm in Longwood fl. I could probably be persuaded to hold onto a car for a few months. 

I might even let it have my spare garage stall if you wanna help me push a car over some. Jeep and the Nissan sit outside, so it's parked up by pedal bikes worth more than any car I own. My neighbors are super chill and give absolutely no berkeleys what I do. (Seriously. Next door guy is building an sbc/turbo s10 in his garage right now).

I never planned on putting a second car in there- no defense needed. You saw the Jeep, that is not an inside car, and SWMBO doesn't do garages. That may change when we buy her her Lexus....but that's a discussion for then.

Pretty impressive set of races to hit all in one season, especially from out of state!  Sounds fun!

Great success!  Met Mndsm and told stories for a couple hours, and checked out the car and left a deposit, pending a couple items.  Sneak peak:

That absolutely sounds like a plan.  Will let you know when I've got my travel plans firmed up (pending test schedules before/after the race weekend for a couple teams).
