Not that it matters, and it's very nit-picky- but Port Canaveral is nowhere near Miami. Same state, sure.

Still need to be careful about lots like that, though.

edit- that follow up is awesome. And it makes me happy that I take a taxi to the cruise ports.

I park right at the terminal. If you are dropping $5K on a cruise, is it really worth a few bucks in savings to park on some dude's empty lot and be shuttled to the terminal?

Wow, we went on a cruise out of Miami (not Port Canaveral), just yesterday I found an e-mail languishing in my work mail box from the end of March forwarding me a missed toll in Florida on the 5th (It’s a company car so they sent it to my employer). I quickly phoned up and paid it (late fees and all, my fault for never being on top of e-mail). After seeing this I double checked the time and date on the ticket, yup we were driving it phew!

We went out of Port Canaveral a couple years ago and parked on site. What's $15/day when you spend $1500 for the cruise for 2 people? We then drove straight through home to make it in time for the Peru Tour.... I was wiped that Saturday.
