Anyone here have experience of catering, in particular as a server? I'm in the District so there seems to be lots of employment here. How much of the uniform do you supply yourself? Just some basic questions, I'll be calling a firm called Susan Gage catering next week. I already work 8-9 shifts at two restaurants, so this would be 2-3 times a week to make more money.
No wonder you don't post much anymore.
I've never done it, but know a caterer that does weddings at my parents house. His servers supply their own uniforms which consists of a white shirt and black pants and shoes. He is also paying better than $20/hr. If he pays less, they don't show.
