AT&T, Galaxy S5 Active. For about a year, the texts have been fine. Recently they started showing up out of order. If I send a text and get a reply with the same time stamp, it shows up above the one I sent. Very annoying. Anyone know how to fix?
Also, what does "push" mean? Some apps ask me if I want to "push" something.
Push means that updates and notices will show up on your phone automatically.
Tends to use more data and battery, but depending on what the app is, it may or may not be a big deal.
I don't know about the text message issue.
For text issue, please follow this path...
Go into the Settings
Wireless & networks

Default SMS app
What is your default app?
SMS is short messaging service aka text messages.
If it is not, try setting it to Messaging (which is Google Messaging) but just says Messaging.
I suspect that a download app has taken the liberty of being your default app.

Are you holding your phone upside down?

Checked just now. Default is Messaging. The only other option was google hangouts.

Ooohh.... that was unchecked. I will see if that fixed it.
